Semi-finals: SRC Coyotes Vs Bucks Mo-ji-tos, turf city.

That Saturday started out as a very warm day and with NTL dragging on for so long, Coyotes couldn't wait to finish playing one of the last games before season ends. Once again, they came face to face with Bucks Mojitos who have won them before. Despite their intimating triumph over many other teams and in turn, causing some anxiety in several Coyotes players, we were reminded that the main aim for the game was to relax and just have fun.

With the warm-up and pre-game talk all done, Coyotes were ready to face them. First 6 were ready on the field and we kicked off with a very nice and disciplined punch-up. Very quickly into the game, Superstar Eda scored the first and easy try against them at the very first minute of the first half of the attack. With Khoo's desperate call for ball which helped move the defense, it was a fake and run through and try! It shocked the Mojitos and brought up Coyotes confidence instantly.

This was even more evident as more and more tries were scored against the Mojitos, causing Britney to be very frustrated. But, the more frustrated she was, the happier we were. The siren came and the first half of the game ended with a score of 5-1, in our favour. As happy as we were, complacency was something we keep reminding ourselves not to overrule us.

Maybe it was the over-confidence Coyotes had after the first-half of the game or maybe everyone was too tired and forgot to mark 2 of their play makers, Mojitos quickly regained composure and the drive to win Coyotes like any other teams was overwhelming. Britney evidently stepped up as she commanded more orders for her players. Unfortunately, it broke Coyotes composure as one try was scored agaisnt us when she side-stepped 2 of Coyotes players and run for a try.

Slowly, everyone in Coyotes was hit hard as they regained power. Tables were turned and the game came to a close with the score of 7-6 in Mojito's favour. Even though Coyotes lost, it was the best game everyone ever played in NTL. A few players stepped-up in game play, some was good enough to move on to Baras. Team talk after was pretty emotional (???). Probably because Coyotes so badly wanted to win the game, yet it seems like that thought was so near yet so far. Anyhow, NTL has ended and everyone's able to take a breather and come back fully charged for the next season of training.

It was indeed a great display of team work blended in with fun and months of hard work. Go Coyotes!
