Quarter-finals: SRC Coyotes Vs RP A @ 1pm, turf city
Coyotes started off the game slow, in a sleepy mood due to the de-motivation of late-comers and especially the hot searing SUN! we even had to rushed with 5 players rushing in the moment the referee blew the whistle to start the game. we were lucky that we were attacking! our attacks seem 'kanchong' and rushed, BUT we gave them a really good fight. we covered well, despite shooting up by Ho and Shihan, etc.. good thing, they always called for cover. That is, of course, a good start of a great communication. Ifa was screaming ard for blast, mainly blindly.. but at least, it was a distractive move and the opponents bought it. Coyotes were smart enough to choose a right gap to blast. Steph missed a crucial big gap in front of her and unselfishly, passed off to Chua. Steph could have scored through that gap! Khoo had moves up her sleeves but it didnt work out 'cause of the frequent drop balls. RP had loads of drop balls too! So who is intimidated by who?!?!?!
Chua playmake moves and keeps telling her team mates what to do, but coyotes moved too slow to her fast reaction. Vie made wondrous 4 side-steppings on 3 RP players and created big gaps on her right and left. But sadly, had no support on these gaps. QY had really made sure her defense was always on the line and her covering really was astounding.
the 2nd half came to an end and it was a start of sudden death, 5 0n 5.. then dropped out another one. it was the moment of 4 on 4 sudden death, that Chua decided to make a subbing-loop. She loop Eda and sprint for her life, as if she's going to get the ball back again! which created the biggest opportunity for Eda to run through easily and score the GOLDEN TRY!
Steph got the clean sheet in the game. We really got to thank our greatest covering up defense: Khoo, Ho and Vie cause they took all out to dive and touch to prevent tries and covering everyone's little mistakes! Cheers to teamwork! Cheers to Coyotes!
